Aadhaar Update 2024: Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for the Free Aadhaar Updation. This is the good news for those who want to update their information in their Aadhaar. Now the Last Date To Update your Aadhaar Card is the 14th of September 2024. With this option, you can change the address on your Aadhaar card online for free.
According to the UIDAI rules, the details related to the Aadhaar Card need to be updated every ten years. To update the details you need to submit respective proof documents should be submitted. Users can avail of the Aadhaar Free Services through the “My Aadhaar” portal. Changes like Name, Date Of Birth and Address can be added through the free services. After the completion of the Free Aadhaar Update Last Date, Aadhaar can be updated by paying Rs.50 at the centres as before.

- First, you need to login through the Aadhaar Number on the UIDAI website
- Once you log in through the Aadhaar Number you will get the OTP to the registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP and click on the Submit button
- Now the Existing Aadhaar details will have appeared on the screen
- Check that all the details are correct. If there any changes in these complete them. Or verify the existing details and click on Next
- Then select the documents with the help of the dropdown list that appears
- Upload the scanned copies of the respective documents and click on the submit button
- After the submission, A 14-digit “Update Request Number” will appear. Through this number, you can check the Aadhaar Update Status from time to time
